PERAN DAN FUNGSI PENGAWAS PENYIDIK KEPOLISIAN DAERAH SULAWESI TENGGARA DALAM PENGAWASAN INTERNAL TERKAIT TERJADINYA KESALAHAN DALAM PROSES PENYIDIKAN (Suatu Studi di Polda Sultra)

Abstract

The research aims (1) To be able to find out what form of supervision is carried out by the investigator supervisor in carrying out investigation supervision. (2) To find out the factors that inhibit internal supervision in the investigation process in the ranks of the Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police. The research will be conducted at the Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police or Polda Sultra, namely in the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation which handles the Investigation and Investigation process for each reported case. The results of the study (1) That the steps that should be taken by the Police, especially the Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police, to optimize investigation supervision and prevent maladministration practices in the investigation process are by: (a) maximizing the integrity of the performance of investigator supervisory officials and Polri Investigators in law enforcement; (b) understanding the laws and regulations in the implementation of professional and accountable law enforcement duties; (c) adding personnel authorized to supervise investigations and providing strict disciplinary sanctions against investigators and investigator supervisory officials who are proven to have committed violations. (2) That the factors causing the role and function of investigator supervisory officials in the investigation supervision process at the Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police are not yet optimal, including: (a) the integrity factor of law enforcers; (b) the legal factor itself; (c) the factor of the lack of officials carrying out the function of supervising investigations; (d) the factor of implementing sanctions against investigators who are proven to have committed violations in the investigation process..
